Description
RECOVER® is a ready-to-use aqueous solution of chemical compounds specifically designed to stabilise the hydration of Portland cement concretes.
The ingredients are factory pre-mixed in exact proportions under strict quality control to provide uniform results. RECOVER® complies with AS 1478, Type SRe.
Application areas
- Concrete mixer wash water, returned or leftover concrete and slurry water to stabilise cement hydration
- Controlled set time extensions such as extended hauls, large continuous pours or pre-batching of concrete for later use
Benefits
- No need to discharge wash water from the mixer which prevents hardening of residual plastic
- Ensures stabilisation up to 96 hours based on dosage
- Stabilising cement hydration of wash/slurry water, returned and leftover concrete allows for the reuse of these materials when required
- With slurry water, it reduces negative characteristics such as decreased slump retention, variation in air contents, set variation time, increased water demands, reduced shrinkage and decreased compressive strengths
- Reduces maintenance and downtime associated with concrete reclaimers
- Reduces water usage in reclaimer system, since trucks are washed with same water
