Chryso®Mira Water Reducers

Flatwork can be challenging for concrete contractors. For high-end residential and commercial construction, concrete producers need a mix that can be easy to place and finish. For these applications, the use of Chryso®Mira series of mid-range water reducers is the key.

The Chryso®Mira family of mid-range water reducers bridge the performance between normal and high-range water reduction. It offers excellent linear dosage water reduction capability, near neutral set times over a wide range of dosages, and excellent placement, and finishing properties.

Some Chryso®Mira products are formulated to provide excellent water reduction, compressive strength and set time when used in mix designs containing high pozzolan contents. These performance improvements are due to a superior dispersion and strength enhancing capability, plus superior quality control that ensures consistent performance.

Other Chryso®Mira products are formulated to provide excellent overall performance as low-range to mid-range linear-dose water reducers. These can be used in a variety of applications, including readymix, paving mixes, and precast products. They produce higher early and ultimate compressive strengths, with neutral set times, allowing higher levels of water reduction less permeable and more durable concrete.

MIRA® 72P

MIRA® 72P is a water reducer specifically formulated to produce concrete with enhanced water reduction and yield a less permeable and more durable concrete. MIRA® 72P is an aqueous solution of complex organic compounds, each of which contributes uniquely to the final concrete properties. It combines the benefits of normal and mid-range water reducers allowing for the ultimate control of concrete placing and finishing properties. MIRA® 72P contains chemicals that provide improved workability and finishability to the concrete surface whilst providing air contents that are lower than conventional water reducers. MIRA® 72P contains no Calcium Chloride and no TEA. MIRA® 72P complies with AS 1478.1-2000, Type MWR.

MIRA® 79P

MIRA® 79P is a water reducer specifically formulated to produce concrete with enhanced water reduction and yield a less permeable and more durable concrete. MIRA® 79P is an aqueous solution of complex organic compounds, each of which contributes uniquely to the final concrete properties. It combines the benefits of normal and high range water reducers allowing for the ultimate control of concrete placing and finishing properties. It does not contain Calcium Chloride. MIRA® 79P complies with AS 1478.1 2000, Type MWR.

MIRA® MP 321

MIRA® MP 321 is an aqueous solution of complex polycarboxylate polymers which contribute uniquely to concrete’s final properties of strength and durability. MIRA® MP 321 has been developed so that at various dose rates, it can function as a water reducer (Type WR), mid-range water reducer (Type MWR) and high-range water reducer (Type HWR). MIRA® MP 321 is manufactured under rigid controls to ensure uniform and predictable performance. MIRA® MP 321 contains no triethanolamine. MIRA® MP 321 can be used either in combination with other WR, or HWR admixtures or as a substitute. MIRA® MP 321 complies with AS 1478.1-2000, Type MWR.

MIRA® VL 6

MIRA® VL 6 is an aqueous solution of complex polycarboxylate compounds which contribute uniquely to concrete’s final properties of strength and durability. Concrete made with MIRA® VL 6 displays significant advantages compared to concrete using traditional admixtures. MIRA® VL 6 uses latest innovation in polymer technology to produce minimal slump loss. MIRA® VL 6 is manufactued under rigid controls to ensure uniform and predictable performance. MIRA® VL 14
