Chryso®V-Mar Admixtures enhance concrete rheology for diverse applications, improving segregation resistance in self-consolidating concrete (SCC), reducing washout in underwater placements, and optimizing zero slump extruded concrete. These products streamline the forming and placing of concrete by improving workability and finishability with harsh aggregates and manufactured sands. By enhancing the lubricity and flowability of the concrete mix, they result in smoother placement and a higher-quality surface finish.

Chryso®V-Mar 3: Thixotropic Improvement

Chryso®V-Mar 3 is a thixotropic admixture that enhances the viscosity and stability of self-consolidating concrete (SCC). It improves moisture tolerance, prevents aggregate segregation, and enhances workability and surface appearance. With minimal impact on air entrainment and normal set times, it also helps reduce pump pressure, improves consistency in challenging conditions like high winds or low humidity, and mitigates both plastic and drying shrinkage cracks.

V-MAR® 3

V-MAR® 3 is a high efficiency liquid admixture designed to enable production of Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC) by modifying the rheology of concrete. V-MAR® 3 works by increasing the viscosity of the concrete while still allowing the concrete to flow without segregation. V-MAR® 3 is based on a unique biopolymer and is manufactured under closely controlled conditions to provide uniform and predictable performance. V-MAR® 3 contains no intentionally added chlorides and no TEA. V-MAR® 3 complies with AS 1478, Type SN.

V-MAR® 6

V-MAR® 6 is a rheology-modifying and mix-enhancing admixture that can be used in a variety of concrete mixes. V-MAR® 6 is based on a high molecular weight polymer that is designed to improve cohesion, flow, lubricity and “softness” to concrete. V-MAR® 6 contains no added Chlorides and no TEA. V-MAR® 6 is supplied ready to use. When producing high workability concrete, V-MAR® 6 should be added “up-front” with part of the batching water. V-MAR® 6 complies with AS 1478.1-2000, Type SN.

V-MAR® VSC500A

V-MAR® VSC500A is a new generation liquid admixture designed to enable the production of superior quality pervious concrete by imparting an enhanced paste rheology and controlling the hydration of cementitious materials. V-MAR® VSC500A incorporates a unique, patented biopolymer and it is manufactured under closely controlled conditions to provide uniform and predictable performance. V-MAR® VSC500A complies with AS 1478, Type SRe admixture.
