Description

TYTRO® WR 172 is the latest technology in the development of high range water-reducing superplasticising admixtures. It is an innovative, versatile, third-generation polycarboxylic ether polymer.

TYTRO® WR 172 is developed for shortcrete to maximise perfomance through a wide range of shortcrete strengths. It contains no added Chlorides and no TEA.
TYTRO® WR 172 complies with AS 1478.1-2000, type HWR.

Application areas

  • Shotcrete with low water-cement ratios
  • Wet mix shotcrete to produce high early strength with reduced heat energy
  • High flow shotcrete for tremie and pump mixes for extended slump life
